The oreilly_de_catalog/ directory contains the source code of the |
4 |
mod_perl applet |
5 |

http://www.oreilly.de/catalog/search.html |

We would like to thank O'Reilly Germany for giving us the opportunity |
9 |
to demonstrate WAIT on their site. |
10 |
11 |
Other accompanying files for the indexing phase are |
12 |
13 |
- lib/WAIT/Document/Ora.pm, |
14 |
- lib/WAIT/Parse/Ora.pm, and |
15 |
- scripts/index_ora |
16 |
17 |
As of this writing, the code in all these files contains too many |
18 |
debugging aids for the current version of HTML::Parser (v3.26). These |
19 |
debugging aids will need to be cleaned up when we have a fully working |
20 |
HTML::Parser again. |
21 |
22 |
This application is provided in the hope that it provides some help in |
23 |
getting started with WAIT. It doesn't do incremental indexing, the |
24 |
filters are not extremely sophisticated, all indexed pages are HTML |
25 |
pages, we do not need to offer structured fields to the user, all this |
26 |
makes the application simple and easy to grasp (I hope). |
27 |
28 |
The didactic aspect unfortunately needs some more work: explanations, |
29 |
better names for the filters, etc. |
