London, April 22, 2001 - On April 22, PLIVA received the newly-established <i>Corporate Award for Environmental Achievement</i>  given by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The award was presented to PLIVA's CEO Mr. Zeljko Covic at the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the EBRD and its associated Business Forum that is taking place in London from April 22-24. Its general theme of <i>Ten years of investing for economic growth</i> <i>and transition</i> also marks the 10th anniversary of the start of EBRD operations.
